Active RDH license (any U.S. state if applicable) Current BLS 1-2+ years of clinical experience (if required) Apply today! Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque and calculus, and applying fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and evaluating oral conditions. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and comfort. Capture and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining proper aseptic techniques. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and clinical notes in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical records appropriately. Support infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments, managing dental supplies, and maintaining a clean clinical environment. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, including medical coding where applicable. Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiency and enhance patient experience.
