Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral health care! In this energetic role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies Review documentation for accuracy, update patient charts, and assist with medical coding for billing purposes Skills Proficiency with dental practice management software; Dentrix Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and aseptic techniques Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and documentation review processes Knowledge of medical terminology and vital signs measurement Join us to elevate patient experiences through dedicated care, technical expertise, and a vibrant team environment. Pay:
$50.00 - $55.00 per hour
