Our patients keep coming back, and so does our team. The Role We are looking for a dedicated, reliable Registered Dental Hygienist who shares our commitment to patient-first dentistry. You'll be a key part of the experience our patients trust, delivering thorough preventive care while helping them understand the connection between their oral health and overall wellbeing. Your expertise will help promote optimal oral health and ensure a positive experience for every patient. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills in dental hygiene, patient education, and infection control are highly valued. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Take dental radiographs while adhering to infection control protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate medical records, document treatment notes, and review documentation for accuracy in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support infection control procedures by following aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile clinical environment. Skills Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures. Experience with pediatric dentistry and providing care for children (pediatrics). Ability to perform patient care tasks such as vital signs measurement and patient assessment confidently. Familiarity with infection control standards, sterilization processes, and OSHA guidelines. Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures and fostering a positive patient experience.
