Registered Dental Hygienist

Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments , medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe treatment plans Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care tailored to pediatric dentistry when applicable Operate dental equipment such as medical imaging devices, intraoral cameras, and digital radiography systems (EMR systems) with precision Maintain strict infection control protocols following aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and safety Document treatment details accurately in electronic medical records (EMR systems) and review documentation for completeness Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials Proficiency in dental software such as Eaglesoft preferred Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and medical records management Join us in making a difference by providing compassionate, comprehensive dental care that improves lives!
