Overview:

We are seeking an experienced , full -time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing practice across the beautiful Hudson Valley, NY region. The position is a critical component of our patient care team. Focusing on providing exceptional preventive and therapeutic services to both our ortho, general, and pediatric patient base. This is a one-day-per-week position with no evening or weekend hours requires, offering a fantastic work-life balance . Applicants must be experienced and willing to travel between our three office locations within the Hudson Valley area. Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Perform comprehensive prophylactic care, including taking and reviewing medical histories, performing oral cancer screenings, and evaluating periodontal status. Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures Take X-rays or dental impressions Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer) Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Monitor supplies
