Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a full-time Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. In this position you will work closely with patients to provide thorough cleanings, assessments, and education while supporting the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for at every visit. Duties Perform high quality comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health. Take dental X-rays and photographs while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental office standards. Support infection control procedures by sterilizing instruments, managing dental supplies, and ensuring a safe clinical environment. Deliver an outstanding patient experience through excellent communication and care. Qualifications Current New York State Dental Hygiene licensure. Experience with dental office software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices. Experience working in general dentistry settings is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively and work collaboratively within a team. $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
