Up to 4 Flexible days per week. 1 hour hygiene appointments.

We want YOU to be part of our dental team. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs. Perform dental cleanings and provide preventive care to patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures effectively. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutritional counseling, and preventive care strategies. Utilize dental software systems such as Softdent for scheduling, patient records, and documentation review. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Assist with medical imaging procedures as required, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images are obtained. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal care delivery. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in New York state. Experience with pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and general dentistry practices. Familiarity with EMR systems and medical coding is advantageous. Strong understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
