In this role, you will utilize your expertise to promote oral health, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support the overall success of our dental practice. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help ensure each patient receives personalized, comfortable care while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and documentation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Header Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by obtaining medical histories, and evaluating oral health status. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term health. Operate Open Dental dental software systems for accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Support the dental team with medical imaging, medical record review, and documentation review to ensure comprehensive patient care. Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials. Proven experience in dental hygiene, preferably within a busy dental clinic or office environment. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs.
Pay:
$55.00 - $65.00 per hour
