Dental Hygienist (Part-time)

Our long established dental office is seeking an exceptional dental hygienist. The position is for two days Tuesdays 9AM-6PM and Thursdays 12-7PM and either a Monday or Wednesday day. We are a single doctor low-volume/high quality FFS practice located in Nyack, NY. We treat one patient at a time, in a calm, low stress supportive working environment and provide high quality personalized care. Our team is focussed on patient education. We are not a high pressure sales environment. Hygienists schedules are single column and range from 60 minutes to 1.5 hours. We are completely digital and paperless. Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right professional. Must be registered dental hygienist in the state of New York. Salary based on experience.

Must have the following qualities:

Outgoing, optimistic and a quick learner. Must be comfortable with technology, learning and implementing it. Treat patients and other staff members with a friendly and positive attitude. Must have great conversation skills and be able to put patients at ease. Must have attention to detail, work quickly and efficiently and be able to multitask.

Responsibilities Include:

Providing exceptional dental care for all patients. Cleaning and setting up the operatory for dental procedures. Cleaning and sterilizing dental instruments. Taking Radiographs and intraoral photographs Taking intraoral scans Assisting in treatment planning using digital techniques.
