Job Description

Part-Time Dental Hygienist (New Graduates Welcome!) We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our practice. We are open to hiring new graduates and will provide support and training for the right candidate. We believe in investing in our team and are committed to helping you grow professionally. We are expanding our practice and foresee that this part time position may evolve into a full time position within the next year.
About our office:
Comprehensive Training:
We will provide on-the-job training to acclimate you to our practice's procedures, materials, and techniques. We will help you develop your skills and confidently grow as a practitioner.
Advanced Technology:
You will gain hands-on experience with modern, cutting-edge tools and digital dentistry, including intraoral scanning, 3D printing, dental implants, CBCT radiography, and periodontal pathogen identification.
Patient-Centered Care:
You will have the opportunity to build strong, long-term relationships with patients of all ages, helping them achieve and maintain optimal oral health. An Active Role in
Disease Treatment:
Your role will be central to patient health, providing both preventative care and periodontal therapy to manage and control periodontal disease.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and record patient history. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque, calculus, and stains. Take and process dental x-rays and other diagnostic images including intraoral scans and photos. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Apply sealants and fluoride treatments as needed. Collaborate with the dental team to develop and document treatment plans in our practice management system.

Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Valid New York State Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient and friendly personality. Open Dental software experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
