The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences and contribute to the overall efficiency of the practice. 1 Day a week ( Tuesday) Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients, including scaling and polishing teeth. Take and record vital signs as part of the patient evaluation process. Assist in the management of medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment. Work with pediatric patients to provide age-appropriate care and education regarding dental health. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for patient management and record-keeping. Collaborate with dentists in general dentistry procedures, providing assistance as needed. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and basic medical record management. Knowledge of infection control standards and practices within a dental setting. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. Proficiency in using dental office software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the dental team.
