Dental Hygienist

Pacific Oak Dental | Forest Grove, OR Pacific Oak Dental is looking for a caring, skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. We're a patient-focused office committed to high-quality care, a positive work environment, and strong communication with the team, our patients and families we serve. Position Summary You will provide preventive dental care, patient education, periodontal maintenance, and supportive clinical services in our welcoming, team-oriented practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable and comfortable building trust with patients of all ages.

This position is part time:

Fridays 7:30 to 1pm •we are open to adding another full day if you are interested. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, SRP and periodontal charting. Take digital radiographs as needed and review findings with the dentist. Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventive treatment. Apply sealants, fluoride, and other preventive services as appropriate. Document clinical notes accurately and maintain organized patient records. Prepare treatment rooms and follow infection control and sterilization protocols. Work collaboratively with the dentist team to support smooth patient flow. Deliver compassionate care and help patients feel comfortable during treatment. Qualifications Active Dental Hygiene/RHS license in Oregon. New grads welcome! Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong communication and patient education skills. Familiarity with Eagle Soft dental software and digital x-rays is helpful. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care.
