Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Is this you? If yes, then we would love to meet you?! This can be a one day to a three day position based on you and your need as well. Ultimately, Mondays (for sure) , Tuesdays and one more day. We are a two doctor practice, double hygiene every day practice. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient care by providing thorough dental cleanings, provide patient education, and preventive services. Your expertise will help promote optimal oral health and ensure a positive experience for every patient. The ideal candidate is energetic, compassionate, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety all while being a great team player with an amazing work family. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Maintain and build strong relationships with your patients and teach good OHI Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Review medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness for each patient visit Support general dentistry procedures with efficient techniques, enhancing workflow and patient comfort Pay is DOE Skills Proficiency with dental software (Quick Learner) - XLDent Dental Program Patient scheduling, documentation review, and record management Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control Experience working with pediatric patients (we see patients of all ages) Skilled in chairside assisting, including medical imaging, vital signs measurement, and patient assessment, perio - charting and assessments Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse patient populations Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure confidentiality of medical records and sensitive information Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental clinic setting while maintaining high-quality standards Join us in making a difference by providing outstanding dental care that transforms smiles.
