Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our patients. You will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients about proper dental hygiene practices. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar. Conduct patient assessments, including taking medical histories and performing oral examinations. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure infection control during all procedures. Assist the dentist during various procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. Operate dental equipment and instruments safely and effectively. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, with familiarity in using Dentrix being a plus. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control protocols. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Aseptic technique proficiency is essential to maintain a sterile environment. Previous experience assisting in dental procedures is advantageous.
