Manage medical imaging procedures such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Cleaning your work area before and after all appointments. Review and document medical records accurately in electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft or Open Dental, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures, providing chairside assistance with dental terminology knowledge and professionalism. Helping to schedule and confirm your patients. Skills Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or soft dent for scheduling, documentation review, and record management. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic technique. Knowledge of general dentistry procedures, including patient care, and patient assessment. Ability to perform assist with x-ray imaging while maintaining strict infection control standards. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations related to medical records confidentiality and documentation review processes. Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment plans clearly and providing compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
