Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in a welcoming, professional environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental concerns to inform treatment plans. Assist the dentist during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and comfort. Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and managing medical records securely. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. Proven experience working in dental clinics or dental offices with proficiency in dental terminology and documentation review. Familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for scheduling, records management, and billing. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures. Ability to perform chairside assisting duties efficiently while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor. Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry principles when working with children or pediatric patients. Pay:
$50.00 - $55.00 per hour
