Registered Dental Hygienist Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking dental x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
  • Conduct thorough dental assessments and charting of oral conditions
  • Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental Software
  • Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
  • Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of Pennsylvania. One year experience required.
  • Knowledge of medical coding systems related to dental procedures
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
  • Strong understanding of oral health principles and practices
