Responsibilities:
Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and preventive therapies Conduct patient screenings, periodontal charting, and oral health assessments Take and interpret digital radiographs in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care strategies Assist in developing individualized hygiene treatment plans Administer fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive services within scope of practice Support diagnosis by identifying conditions requiring doctor evaluation Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records Follow OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, and infection control standards Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure exceptional patient care Help create a positive, comfortable, and relationship-focused patient experience
Qualifications:
Qualifications Active Pennsylvania Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree) Successful completion of the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination and clinical licensing requirements Current CPR/BLS certification Local anesthesia certification preferred (if applicable) Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records preferred Strong periodontal knowledge and patient education skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to compassionate patient care New graduates are encouraged to apply
