The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and safety. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures, patient assessment, and effective communication skills to educate patients on oral health practices. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth to maintain oral hygiene. Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental issues. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining patient confidentiality and proper documentation. Assist in four-handed dentistry by working collaboratively with dentists during procedures. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to patient appointments. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, with a strong understanding of general dentistry practices. Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental software is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to perform patient assessments effectively. Experience in dental assisting is beneficial but not mandatory.
