Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in a vibrant, patient-focused environment. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to promote oral health, perform thorough dental cleanings, and educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help ensure a positive experience for every patient while supporting the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a general or pediatric dentistry setting with familiarity in pediatric dentistry preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical coding, and documentation review processes Skilled in chairside assisting with proficiency in medical imaging and vital signs monitoring Experience working with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, infection control standards, and aseptic techniques to ensure compliance and patient safety Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on dental health practices Prior experience in dental office or clinic environments demonstrating professionalism and teamwork Join us to make a difference through energetic patient engagement and expert care! Pay:
$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
