Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and promoting optimal oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive dental services. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. Take and document vital signs as part of patient assessments. Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review for each patient visit. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care. Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment. Utilize aseptic techniques during all procedures to prevent contamination. Work with pediatric patients, providing specialized care tailored to their needs. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans that address patients' specific concerns. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Proficiency in general dentistry practices and procedures. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental hygiene. Experience with infection control measures in a clinical setting. Familiarity with documentation review processes for maintaining patient records. Prior experience in assisting during dental procedures is preferred but not required.
