Dental Hygienist

Job Overview Periodontal office with locations in Providence and Johnston seeks dedicated professional 2-3 days per week. • Remove plaque and calculus by scaling and root planing and polishing teeth
• Educate and motivate patients to maintain proper oral hygiene practices
• Take dental radiographs
• Maintain and update patient medical records
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with practice procedures, rules and regulations to ensure infection control
• Assist with dental terminology translation for patients _Maintain instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing and selecting instruments
• Remove Sutures Requirements
• Certification in Dental Hygiene, Licensed in local anesthesia
• Proficiency in Curve dental software
• Strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation
