Overview Looking for a temporary Hygienist to help cover maternity leave, 08/24/2026-10/29/2026, 2-3 days per week. Join our dynamic dental team, where your skills and enthusiasm will make a meaningful difference in patients' oral health journeys. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality dental hygiene services in a flexible, supportive environment. As a Fill-In Hygienist, you will step into a vital position that ensures seamless patient care continuity, helping to maintain our commitment to exceptional dental health experiences. Responsibilities Deliver thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments Assist with patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to uphold strict infection control standards Collaborate with dentists and team members to develop personalized care plans for patients Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with privacy regulations Adapt quickly to different office environments, filling in for regular hygienists as needed Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow when required Skills Valid dental hygiene license for the applicable state or region Proven experience in providing professional dental hygiene services Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures Excellent communication skills to educate and reassure patients effectively Ability to adapt swiftly to new environments and team dynamics Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for record keeping and patient management Enthusiastic team player committed to delivering outstanding patient care This position is ideal for motivated dental hygienists seeking flexible work opportunities while making a positive impact on patients' oral health.
