Today Job Description Our hometown dental office is looking for a friendly, caring Dental Hygienist to join our team. We take pride in knowing our patients by name and providing quality care in a welcoming, family-focused environment. Whether you're an experienced hygienist or a recent graduate, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll Do:
Provide routine cleanings and preventive care Educate patients on oral health and hygiene Take digital X-rays and maintain patient records Work alongside our dentist and team to create a positive patient experience

Job Requirements Current Dental Hygienist license in the State of South Dakota or eligibility for licensure. Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program. Current CPR/BLS certification. Proficiency in dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal assessments, and preventive care procedures. Ability to take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations. Knowledge of infection control, sterilization procedures, OSHA standards, and HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication and patient education skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
