In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by performing professional dental cleanings, assessments, and preventive treatments. Your expertise will help ensure our patients maintain optimal oral health while experiencing a welcoming and comfortable environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about dentistry, possesses excellent communication skills, and is committed to upholding the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history reviews, to ensure safe treatment planning. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately using digital imaging equipment. Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health. Adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance to safeguard patient information and prevent cross-contamination. Skills Proficiency with dental software platforms such as Eaglesoft for scheduling, documentation review, and record management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding for accurate recordkeeping. Ability to perform medical imaging procedures safely while maintaining patient comfort. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients of all ages about their oral health needs while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
