Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, focusing on preventive measures and patient education. This role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to promoting oral health and ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients, including children. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and vital signs. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as necessary. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Review and maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a child-friendly environment. Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns and answering questions. Skills Proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures. Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring and documentation review. Excellent patient assessment skills to identify oral health issues effectively. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, fostering trust and comfort. Strong organizational skills for maintaining medical records and documentation.
