Job description: Cedar Valley Dental Arts in Ooltewah, TN, is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our growing team! Full-time and part-time positions are available. At Cedar Valley Dental Arts, our mission is to make you smile by providing individualized dental care distinguished by exceptional service, high-quality treatment, and Christian values. We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist who is passionate about serving patients with kindness, professionalism, and integrity. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This role is an integral part of our practice and requires excellent patient communication skills and a caring, team-oriented attitude. We value providing adequate appointment time and creating a supportive, low-stress environment for both patients and team members. Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional care to patients
- Perform preventive and non-surgical periodontal therapy
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Present treatment recommendations to patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of operatories
- Perform sterilization and infection control procedures
- Maintain and clean personal workstation
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Complete other assigned duties as needed Qualifications
- Genuine desire to help patients achieve excellent oral health
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized and multitask
- Positive, supportive attitude toward patients and team members
- Thorough knowledge of dental procedures and instruments
- Certification or Degree in Dental Hygiene (Required)
- Tennessee Dental Hygiene License (Required)
- Local Anesthetic Permit (Preferred) Experience
- Minimum 1 year of dental hygiene experience preferred
- Experience with dental office software preferred Benefits
