  • We are currently seeking to hire a Part-Time that can lead to a Full-Time Texas licensed Registered Dental Hygienist to add to our team here at Denton Family Dentistry, a solo private practice that has been well established for over 20 years in the same location in a busy and populated area in Denton, Texas.
We are looking for someone passionate about what they do, wanting to work together with a great Doctor & team to treat patients and promote good oral health. Our ideal candidate will love patients of all ages, have passion about dentistry, trainable and to well adapt to our system, reliable and accountable, responsible, honest, independent, no attitude problem, does not cause any office drama, excellent bedside manner, team player, work hard and efficient in a busy environment. Our office strive to hire, keep, and maintain a good staff for a long term by creating amazing work spaces and environment for our staff and compensating fairly and appropriately for the right candidate with experience. We have nice, fun, easy going, and stable full staff to work with. If you have a steady hand, work efficiently, team player, and have a trainable mindset and is willing to learn and improve, possess a great bedside manner and personality, we would love to meet you! A minimum of two years of dental hygienist experience is preferred, however, NEW

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  • Prepare and sterilize solutions, materials, and medications.
  • Provide dental treatments, such as scaling and root planning, polishing, application of sealants and fluoride, whitening, laser treatment/therapy, taking alginate impression and pouring up cast models, and etc.
  • Monitor patient's vital signs, medical history, and medical problems.
  • Clean patient treatment rooms and equipment.
  • Communicate with other professionals who are involved in the patient's care.
  • Complete all documentation and thorough clinical notes for dental procedures performed.
  • Charting Perio Charts and entering existing restoration and dental treatment and presenting to the patients.
  • Making phone calls to schedule patients or fill empty schedules.
  • Scheduling patients for their next appointment.
  • Placing Sealants
  • Taking alginate impression, pouring stone model, fabricating for whitening trays and/or nightguards.
  • Treating patients with In-Office Teeth-Whitening.
  • Laser treatment as needed.
  • Educating patients on fluoride treatment

Pay:
