The right candidate ideally has experience in a pediatric dental office and feels very much at ease working with children and also special health care needs individuals. It is a priority to be a team player, and demonstrate a positive attitude at all times, along with having strong interpersonal communication skills, and be willing to help out with administrative duties and other tasks as necessary. Must also be adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Since work/life balance is a priority for our team we offer a rotating 4-day weekend schedule, working Mon-Thur one week, then Tues-Friday the following. Job Responsibilities:
Ensure patients and parents feel comfortable and concerns addressed Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial screenings and review health history/oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Clean and help protect patient's teeth by applying fluoride Educate patients on oral hygiene Take X-rays Maintain documentation and records on each patient Monitor supplies and aid in ordering supplies when needed
Qualifications:
  • RDH through state of Texas
  • Current CPR, current Nitrous Certification, current Radiography Certificate
  • Desire to assist in growth of practice through participation in marketing efforts and community education outreach.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of dental terms, equipment/instruments, and health and safety regulations in this profession.
