Lead Dental Hygienist ($2,500 Sign-On Bonus)

We're looking for a Lead Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who is not only clinically strong, but also ready to step into a leadership role—guiding, supporting, and elevating the hygiene team. What You'll Do As our Lead RDH, you'll play a dual role—providing exceptional patient care while leading the hygiene department. Clinical Responsibilities Perform comprehensive hygiene visits, including cleanings, scaling, and root planing Conduct oral health assessments and take diagnostic X-rays Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care Perform oral cancer screenings Collaborate with doctors on treatment planning Leadership & Operations Lead, mentor, and support the hygiene team Assist with training new hygienists Work alongside the Practice Manager to improve workflow and patient experience Monitor hygiene performance and key metrics Help maintain a full schedule and maximize daily production Act as a liaison between team members and leadership What We're Looking For Active Texas RDH license (TSBDE) Strong clinical skills in preventive and periodontal care Leadership mindset with the ability to coach and motivate others Excellent communication and patient education skills Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Current CPR/BLS certification Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA standards Success Metrics You'll help drive success by improving: Hygiene production and collections Case acceptance Patient experience and retention Schedule efficiency and patient flow Team performance and accountability What Makes This Role Different Leadership opportunity without leaving clinical work High-care, low-volume hygiene model (quality over quantity) Advanced technology (CBCT, iTero, digital imaging) Strong team culture focused on collaboration—not micromanagement Ability to directly impact growth and performance Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly + production-based bonus Bonus opportunities based on performance Full-time schedule (no weekends) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays & PTO Continuing education and growth opportunities Schedule Full-time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday (no weekends) Why Join Dental Depot DFW?
