PART TIME POSITION
Schedule is as followed: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 11:30am-6:00pm $33 PER HR + Production Commissions available Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health. Review and maintain accurate medical records for each patient visit. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care. Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures. Assist in pediatric dentistry by providing care tailored to younger patients. Perform documentation review to ensure compliance with clinic protocols and standards. Utilize medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosing dental conditions. Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care. Skills Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry and healthcare. Strong knowledge of anatomy as it pertains to oral health. Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred. Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Ability to perform medical imaging effectively, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results. Familiarity with dental clinic operations and procedures, particularly in a pediatric setting. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
