The Difference You'll Make As our Dental Hygienist, you'll be a vital part of our patients' oral health journey. You won't just clean teeth-you'll help prevent disease, detect early signs or oral health issues, and educate patients on how to maintain their smiles for life. Your role will directly impact patient confidence, overall health, and their trust in our practice. You'll also play a key role in shaping the patient's experience from the moment they sit in your chair to the moment they leave, you'll ensure they fell comfortable , informed, and cared for. Your expertise will help us deliver on our promise of exceptional dental care. Your Day-to-Day Provide gentle yet thorough prophylaxis, scaling and root planing treatments tailored to each patient's needs. Conduct comprehensive periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings, and risk assessments. Capture, review, and explain digital x-rays and intraoral images to patients in a way that's easy to understand. Deliver personalized oral hygiene instructions, Including brushing,flossing, and dietary recommendations. Collaborate closely with Dentists and Dental Assistants to coordinate treatment plans and ensure seamless care. Maintain meticulous records in our Open Dental or Dentrix digital charting system. Uphold the highest standards of infection control and sterilization in compliance with Texas State Board of Dental Examiners regulations. Participate in Morning Huddles, Team Meetings, continuing education sessions. What You Bring to the Team Active Texas Dental Hygienist License in good standing. Proficiency with digital charting systems (Open Dental, Dentrix, Dexis or similar) A compassionate , patient-focused approach and excellent communication skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cinical excellence. A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for continous learning.
