Dental Hygienist

We have a staff of 8 and one of our current hygienists is retiring and we need someone to take on their patients. We are a general dental office located near downtown Weatherford. Our services include routine dental work, as well as implants, molar root canals, IV sedation, and clear aligner ortho. We have a thriving patient base and a great work environment. Our staff consists of two assistants, two front desk, two hygienists, the dentist Dr. Schaake, and our office manager Danae. We are looking for someone to work one of these three schedule blocks: Tuesday-Friday 7:30 am to 5 pm. or Wednesday-Friday 7:30 am to 5pm or Wednesday-Saturday 7:30 am to 5 pm We really try to keep patients comfortable by maintaining a calm and relaxing atmosphere and by providing exceptional patient care. We are looking for someone to join our team who really values building a connection with patients and who is passionate about striving for excellence in their dental hygiene practice. Dr. Schaake highly values his hygienists for their expertise and the vital care that they provide to keep our patients healthy. "I try to support my hygienists in every way that I possibly can by providing comfortable and profound anesthesia for SRPs, being available for a quick unscheduled check at no charge to the patient, or ensuring that I am on the same page with my hygienist in understanding and supporting their treatment philosophy. Like dentists, hygienists have differences in treatment philosophy that have been shaped by the program they attended and their experience as a professional. For example, some hygienists find benefit from Arestin, while others find little use for it. Laser therapy is another example.
