Hiring for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays, 8 am to 4pm (1 hour lunch) Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and evaluating oral health status. Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed. Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times. Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to safeguard patient and staff health. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, supporting proper billing with medical coding when applicable. Skills Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and medical terminology relevant to dental practice. Experience in pediatric dentistry and pediatrics-focused p Skilled in chairside assisting with a focus on four-handed dentistry techniques that enhance workflow efficiency. Ability to accurately perform vital signs measurement and medical imaging procedures with attention to detail. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach that fosters trust and comfort. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy and data security. Knowledge of dental records management, documentation review, and billing procedures within a dental setting. Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment.
