Dental Hygienist

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Conduct dental screenings and assist dentists in treatment procedures
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records
• Take and record patients' vital signs
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care

Skills:

• Proficient in medical documentation and maintaining accurate patient records
• Familiarity with Dentrix dental software for patient management
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems for digital impressions is a plus
• Competence in general dentistry procedures and terminology
