Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care by performing thorough dental cleanings, assessments, and preventive treatments. Your expertise will help promote optimal oral health for mostly adult patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience in our state-of-the-art dental practice. The ideal candidate will be energized by working in a fast-paced environment, committed to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality, and eager to contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding dental care. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote lifelong dental health Take X-rays while adhering to all safety protocols and infection control procedures Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
  • open dental Follow strict HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and ensure compliance with all legal standards for medical records management Experience Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a busy dental office or clinic setting Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques Familiarity with general dentistry practices when working with adult patients Experience with EMR systems for documentation review and record keeping Understanding of medical coding related to dental procedures for accurate record management Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering excellent patient care
