We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, infection control protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth. Review patient documentation and medical history to ensure comprehensive care. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures alongside the dentist to enhance patient comfort and efficiency. Maintain strict infection control practices in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience and seamless workflow within the clinic. Skills Proficient in documentation review and understanding of medical terminology. Experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of patient care protocols. Familiarity with infection control standards and HIPAA compliance. Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively. Strong communication skills to educate patients clearly about their oral health.
