Job Description

Job Summary Join our non-corporate, dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist in a well regarded office. In this energetic office with a positive environment, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Your expertise will help in continuing to provide a positive experience for every patient while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and clinical excellence. This position allows you to join an established team and work with up-to-date equipment, with a supportive employer in a patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including SRP, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform and educate our patients. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting treatment procedures, patient responses, and relevant medical information. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term dental health. Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Requirements Valid Dental Hygiene license with current state certification to practice legally. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, demonstrating patience and compassion.
