Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and dental examinations to ensure optimal care Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to their needs Assist with chairside procedures such as applying sealants, fluoride treatments, and assisting during restorative procedures Take and develop medical imaging (X-rays) while adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards Review medical records and documentation for accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper recordkeeping Support the dental team with infection control practices using aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment Requirements Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations Proficiency in dental office software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for charting and documentation Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively New graduates are welcome Reliable Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through compassionate care and expert service!
