Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking an exceptional Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong commitment to patient care and education. This position offers flexible hours and is ideal for someone seeking a part-time schedule with the opportunity to help support a busy office as needed.
Responsibilities:
Ensure patient comfort prior to examinations. Properly sterilize dental instruments. Conduct initial mouth screenings and review oral health histories. Identify conditions such as gingivitis or periodontitis. Clean and protect patients' teeth (e.g., remove plaque, apply fluoride). Educate patients of all ages on proper dental care, including demonstrating effective brushing and flossing techniques. Provide post-operative instructions to patients after dental procedures. Take X-rays and dental impressions as needed. Assist dentists in selecting appropriate treatments for various conditions, including oral cancer.
