With 7 practices across Southern California and a growing laboratory operation specializing in high-quality crown, bridge, implant, and CAD/CAM restorations, we are committed to building a patient-centered, team-driven culture that transforms the dental experience. Our workflow combines advanced in-house digital production with coordination alongside international production partners to deliver exceptional quality and efficiency. As we continue to scale, we are seeking an experienced and highly organized Dental Lab Coordinator to oversee laboratory operations, case coordination, quality control, and communication between dental offices, internal lab technicians, and overseas production teams. Position Summary The Dental Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily laboratory operations while ensuring efficient case flow, high-quality restorations, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance. This role combines technical dental laboratory expertise with leadership, production coordination, client communication, and workflow management. The ideal candidate must be able to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced, digitally driven environment.

Armenian or Russian speaking required Key Responsibilities Laboratory Operations & Quality Control Oversee daily production of crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, orthodontic appliances, and other dental restorations Plan, coordinate, and monitor workflow to ensure production deadlines and delivery schedules are consistently met Review incoming cases and prescriptions to verify all required information is complete prior to design and production Ensure all restorations meet clinical specifications, aesthetic standards, and quality expectations Conduct final inspections and troubleshoot quality or production issues Coordinate outsourced and overseas cases by providing clear instructions, documentation, and follow-up communication Track case production, turnaround times, remakes, and overall lab performance metrics Maintain organized case tracking and documentation systems Maintain calibration and functionality of lab equipment; coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed Manage inventory of materials, tools, and supplies Support billing coordination and administrative processes when needed Team Leadership & Workflow Management Supervise, train, mentor, and support dental lab technicians and support staff Ensure team members remain on top of assigned cases and deadlines in a timely and organized manner Collaborate closely with the technical and administrative teams to improve efficiency and systems Help implement and optimize digital workflows and communication processes Client Communication & Case Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for dental offices, dentists, and clinical teams regarding case updates and concerns Communicate with offices regarding prescriptions, materials, adjustments, remakes, and follow-ups Provide technical support regarding restoration materials, design options, and lab capabilities Act as liaison between internal lab operations and overseas production partners Resolve case-related concerns and ensure smooth communication throughout the production process Compliance & Laboratory Standards Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, FDA, infection control, and laboratory safety standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment Oversee infection control protocols and waste management procedures Qualifications 3-5+ years of dental office and/or dental laboratory experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, restorations, implants, and materials including zirconia and e.max Experience with digital dentistry workflows including STL files, intraoral scanners, CAD/CAM systems, milling units, and dental design software Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision Experience coordinating outsourced or overseas dental lab cases preferred Familiarity with dental lab or case management software preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Technology or related field preferred CDT (Certified Dental Technician) certification strongly preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunity for advancement within a rapidly growing organization and laboratory operation Growth-focused and technology-driven environment Opportunity to play a key role in scaling operations and improving systems across multiple locations Dental Lab Coordinator Empower Dental Group Burbank, CA 91505 $20
