Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Dental Technician - Ceramist to join our dynamic dental laboratory team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and other prosthetic devices, with precision and artistry. Your expertise in dental fabrication and ceramic techniques will help deliver exceptional aesthetic and functional results that enhance patient outcomes. Responsibilities Fabricate custom dental restorations such as crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, and onlays using ceramic and other materials, ensuring precise fit and natural appearance. Interpret dental prescriptions, lab orders, and digital scans to produce accurate restorations aligned with dentist specifications Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to design restorations when applicable, ensuring optimal aesthetics and functionality. Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all fabrication processes to ensure patient safety. Collaborate closely with dentists and dental assistants to ensure seamless communication regarding case requirements and adjustments. Team-oriented mindset Keep detailed records of each case, including medical documentation, dental terminology references, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Experience Proven laboratory experience in dental fabrication with a strong focus on ceramic techniques and esthetic restorations. Excellent communication skills, including confidence in speaking with doctors Strong attention to detail and an aptitude for analytical thinking Experience in both analog and digital workflow Understanding of infection control standards specific to dental laboratories and clinical environments. $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
