Dental Technician Dostal Dental Laboratory North Hollywood, CA Job Details Part-time 15 hours ago Qualifications Anatomy knowledge Dental fabrication Laboratory experience High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Full Job Description Dental Lab is seeking an experienced Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience . We are looking for a skilled technician whose primary role will be in the traditional model department , with the ability to assist other departments when needed. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in pouring, trimming, and preparing traditional dental models for crown and bridge cases. The candidate should also be comfortable supporting the digital department with digital model work , as well as assisting with stain and glaze and other departments when necessary . The candidate must be independent, detail-oriented, and flexible , with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental laboratory environment.
Responsibilities may include:
Pouring, trimming, and preparing traditional dental models Preparing working models for crown and bridge cases Assisting the digital department with digital model work when needed Supporting stain and glaze or other departments as needed Ensuring accuracy and quality of models before cases move to production Maintaining an organized workspace and following laboratory protocols Meeting production timelines and quality standards
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of dental laboratory experience Strong experience in traditional model work Familiarity with digital models or digital dental workflows preferred Ability to assist in multiple departments when needed Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a lab Strong attention to detail
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge tooth anatomy Ability to articulate according to Rx Excellent hand/eye coordination Ability to prioritize and organize duties and responsibilities effectively. Ability to be reliable, dependable, and adaptable Job Types Part-time - possibly
