Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Lab Technician to join our dental lab. This is a bit of a hybrid postion where you would be working both in the office offering technical support and in the lab working on digital cases. Must be familiar with scanning, milling, 3d printing, digital design, etc. Also must be able to learn the lab software we use quickly. This is a fast paced lab so expectations are set and we do have high standards for both our lab and our customers. Duties Help customers with technical questions to assist in case flow Design dental prosthetics including models, crowns, bridges, dentures, and veneers based on detailed specifications and patient needs. Assist in case entry and other office needs when needed Use CAD software to design restorations with precision and accuracy. Knowledge of using 3d printer Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for fit, function, and aesthetics before delivery. Stay updated on advances in dental materials, fabrication techniques, and digital dentistry tools like Epic systems. Help customers with technical questions to assist in case flow Meet with patients for custom shading Assist in case entry and other office needs. Skills Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and laboratory procedures. Proficiency in CAD software for designing restorations. Experience with dental fabrication processes including casting, milling, and layering techniques. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to assess the quality of finished products thoroughly. Effective communication skills for collaborating with dental team members and understanding patient needs when necessary.
