Part time RDA

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. New Grads are welcome! As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position requires knowledge and experience in various dental procedures and excellent patient care skills.

Skills:

• Skillful and competent in four handed dentistry,
• certificate of 8 hour sterilization required,
• efficient in taking proper FMX and recall sets,
• certificate of coronal polishing will be a plus,
• Team player and friendly,
• Attention to details and orderliness is a must,
• Attention to infection control guidelines is a must,
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Perform efricient and proper 4-handed dentistry,
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation using electronic systems such as Eaglesoft
• Perform dental receptionist duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
• Assist with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations
• Practice aseptic technique to ensure infection control

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
• Current certification in dental assisting preferred
• Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation systems
• Experience with dentrix is a plus
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills This is a part-time position with competitive pay.
