Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Front and Back Office team member to support our clinical and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of dental procedures and technology. MUST have dental terminology knowledge. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a smooth patient experience while maintaining high standards of infection control and medical documentation. Duties Manage patient scheduling, check-in, and check-out processes efficiently using Dentrix. Prepare and maintain accurate medical records, including medical history, treatment plans, and dental documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with chairside procedures through four-handed dentistry techniques, including taking vital signs, medical imaging, and operating X-ray equipment. Support clinical staff with infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and maintaining a sterile environment. Handle insurance claims processing, medical coding, and billing to ensure timely reimbursement. Educate patients about treatment options, dental terminology, and post-treatment care instructions. Coordinate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow during procedures such as prosthodontics, endodontics, or pediatric dentistry treatments. Skills Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for managing patient records and scheduling. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and medical documentation standards. Experience with dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners. Strong understanding of dental terminology across various specialties like prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Ability to perform chairside assisting tasks including taking vital signs and supporting four-handed dentistry procedures. Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a dental clinic setting. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
