Dental Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Zirconia Finishing & Fitting Technician to join our dental laboratory team. This position is responsible for fitting and finishing zirconia restorations to ensure proper function, fit, and quality prior to final delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience working with zirconia crowns, excellent hand skills, and a strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and restorative adjustments. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Fit zirconia crowns and restorations into the die/model to verify proper seating and adaptation Adjust interproximal contacts to ensure accurate fit and proper spacing Evaluate and adjust occlusion to ensure functional bite alignment Inspect and refine margins for precision and proper adaptation Perform finishing and contouring of zirconia restorations while maintaining anatomy and aesthetics Use dental laboratory tools and equipment for grinding, polishing, and adjustment of zirconia materials Conduct quality control inspections to ensure restorations meet laboratory and doctor specifications Collaborate with production teams to maintain workflow efficiency and turnaround times Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workstation Qualifications Previous experience in dental laboratory zirconia finishing, fitting, or crown and bridge work preferred Understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, margins, and interproximal contacts Ability to read and interpret work tickets, prescriptions, and specifications Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Experience with dental lab equipment and zirconia materials is highly preferred Preferred Skills Knowledge of crown and bridge restorations Experience adjusting zirconia crowns for fit and function Familiarity with dental laboratory workflows and quality standards Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Manual dexterity for detailed handwork Ability to use fine instruments and dental lab equipment Schedule / Work Environment Full-time position Dental laboratory environment Fast-paced production setting with emphasis on quality and accuracy

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
