In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality dental prosthetics, restorations, and appliances that meet precise specifications and enhance patient outcomes. Your expertise in dental fabrication, anatomy, and medical terminology will contribute to delivering exceptional care and satisfaction. Duties Fabricate dental restorations such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants using CAD/CAM technology and traditional techniques Ensure all dental appliances meet strict quality standards through meticulous measurement with tools like micrometers and adherence to infection control protocols Collaborate closely with dentists and dental assistants to interpret prescriptions, technical drawings, and patient needs Maintain detailed medical documentation and records, including lab reports, patient assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with chairside procedures when necessary, supporting dental staff during patient appointments Follow aseptic techniques and infection control procedures to ensure a sterile working environment Stay updated on advancements in dental fabrication methods, materials, and industry standards Requirements Proven laboratory experience in dental fabrication or related fields with a strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and medical coding as applicable to dental records management Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for managing patient information Experience with CAD/CAM systems for digital design and manufacturing of dental prosthetics Ability to assess patient needs through patient assessment skills and vital signs monitoring when supporting clinical activities Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance Excellent attention to detail with the ability to use precise measuring instruments like micrometers effectively Knowledge of pediatric dentistry considerations is a plus for working with diverse patient populations Join us to craft life-changing smiles while advancing your career in a vibrant, supportive environment!
