Full Job Description Job Title:
Dental Ceramist —
Zirconia & Provisional Specialist Location:
Tampa, FL Company:
ITXPROS Type:
Full-Time Reports to: Clinical Director ; At ITXPROS, we are more than colleagues; we're a family, a team, and true partners. We believe amazing things happen when people work together in an environment where everyone feels a genuine sense of belonging and their ideas are valued. Join us, and help shape the future of digital dentistry. About the Role ITXPROS is a digital dentistry solutions company — not a conventional dental lab. This distinction matters. You will operate within a structured corporate environment with defined workflows, documentation standards, and cross-functional team dependencies. The ideal candidate combines hands-on ceramics craftsmanship with operational discipline and digital literacy. Core Responsibilities Fabrication, Finishing & Aesthetics
  • Milling, finishing, and quality-checking provisional and final zirconia prostheses to high aesthetic and functional standards.
  • Specialize in full arch prosthetic production and complete/implant-supported denture fabrication as the primary output focus; implant-supported restorations are core to the role. Crown and bridge work is a valued plus but not the production priority.
  • Execute precise staining and glazing across zirconia restorations and printed PMMA provisional dentures to achieve natural-looking, case-matched results consistently.
  • Operate nitrogen curing equipment as part of the production workflow, ensuring proper curing cycles and output integrity.
  • Maintain consistent output quality aligned with ITXPROS case specifications and client expectations.
Prosthetic Design Team Collaboration Communicate clearly and promptly with the remote Prosthetic Design Team regarding case details, revisions, fit feedback, and timelines. Flag any design or output discrepancies before fabrication progresses. Shipping & Logistics Coordination Coordinate with the Tampa lab technician on outbound shipment of prostheses, ensuring proper pairing with corresponding surgical guides. Track shipment status and escalate any delays or mismatches proactively. Supply & Inventory Management Anticipate lab supply needs and initiate orders ahead of stock depletion — proactive planning is expected, not reactive restocking. Create and submit Purchase Orders (POs) for supplies and materials, pending approval before any purchase is made. Manage prosthetic inventory — track stock levels, flag low inventory, and report usage trends. Documentation & Corporate Compliance Maintain accurate case-level documentation in line with ITXPROS SOPs. Navigate the company CRM to log case activity, update statuses, and maintain client-facing records. Use Google Sheets for tracking, reporting, and coordination tasks. Demonstrate general computer proficiency (email, file management, cloud-based tools). Requirements Proven experience fabricating and finishing zirconia restorations (provisional and final). Broad prosthetic competency covering crowns, bridges, dentures, custom abutments, and implant-supported restorations across material types. Demonstrated mastery in staining and glazing across zirconia restorations and printed PMMA provisional dentures to high aesthetic standards. Hands-on experience with nitrogen curing units in a production environment. Familiarity with dental 3D printing workflows and sintering processes. Strong interpersonal communication skills — comfortable working with remote design teams. Experience with or ability to quickly learn Google Workspace and CRM platforms. Detail-oriented with the ability to follow corporate documentation and procurement procedures. Ability to manage inventory and supply ordering independently, with a forward-planning mindset. Preferred Experience in a dental technology company or multi-location dental group setting (vs. single-owner lab). Exposure to digital dentistry ecosystems (CBCT, surgical guides, digital impressions). What Makes This role Different You won't be working in isolation producing units on a bench. You'll be embedded in a coordinated operation — interfacing with a design team, managing logistics, handling procurement, and maintaining records. If you're looking for a role that values both craft and operational responsibility, this is it.
