Your experience in medicine or dentistry, passion for surgery, and commitment to making a positive mark on every patient's heart has paved the perfect pathway for you to pursue an unparalleled career opportunity! Become a renowned member of a highly skilled and specialized surgery team that shares your passion and purpose. ATL Dental Implants , the private practice of Dr. Skyler Holcomb and Team, is seeking to add a Surgical Dental Assistant to their growing workgroup. This niche practice provides patients who have suffered long-term serious dental problems with a revolutionary "smile make-over," and our new team member will work with our team to provide them with the highest standard of informed care and emotional support. Let us tell you more! Our patients share a common theme: For years, they have been unable or embarrassed to smile. Influenced by prior prolonged economic struggles or chronic medical conditions, the degenerative state of their teeth has cost them career advancement, compromised social experiences, trouble eating, and ultimately, frustration, sadness, and a significant loss of confidence…UNTIL NOW. ATL
Dental Implants utilizes the most advanced technology and highly skilled services to enable patients to achieve an amazing, healthy, confident, and lasting smile… often inJUST ONE DAY.
Ready to build a rewarding career while making an amazing difference in the lives of dental implant patients? Previously, the solutions for dentally compromised patients were either traditional dentures (with drawbacks that reduced the ability to taste, compromised intimacy, increased struggles with speech, required annoying adhesives, caused sore spots, and frequent return trips) or multiple appointments, long delays, unfathomable costs, and struggles with temporary teeth. To accompany the revolutionary option of implant supported dental prosthetics… efficiency has translated into patient affordability. Your prior healthcare experience serves as the perfect foundation for training! Training is amazing, well-planned, and organized. In addition to passing instruments and suctioning, skills include working together with Dr. Holcomb to remove non-functional teeth and recontour the bone to receive ideal placement of the dental implants. You'll expertly apply your well-trained skills using the most amazing technology to communicate measurements and images to our expert laboratory technicians who standby to receive the data and fabricate the patient's replacement teeth. Your expert communications skills and post-operative guidance provide the patient with unparalleled support and care, making this highly complex process straightforward and streamlined. Doesn't this opportunity to establish and spark the growth of a practice, while transforming the lives of patients, sound amazing? It is. Qualifications to apply for this position include: 1. 3+ years of healthcare experience as an assistant, phlebotomist, or surgical technician in general medicine (private practice or hospital), a related medical specialty, or dentistry. 2. Desire to be a key hands-on member of a niche team where consistency and dependability are paramount to your success. 3. Certification in phlebotomy OR willingness to commit to a six-week, evening program to gain certification. 4. Must enjoy surgery! Eager to work hands-on to maintain visible field while suctioning blood, bone fragments, and placing implants. 5. Proven track record of initiative. Do you enjoy new challenges and streamlining silky smooth processes? 6. Excellent communication skills including skillful listening, empathy, and excellent documentation. 7. Quick to learn and utilize advanced technology for each step of the process starting with clinical findings at the new patient examination/consultation to delivery of the final, esthetically amazing, natural feeling "like-natural permanent" teeth. 8. Communication skills! Comfortable corresponding face-to-face with patients, sharing Dr. Holcomb's recommendations and providing clear in-office and at-home care instructions. Work-life balance is a healthy priority, too! Designed for lifestyle balance, we offer a 4-day work week rotating Monday-Thursday. Then, Tuesday-Friday. The rotation provides for a 4-day weekend every other weekend. No evenings, no weekends!
